Lot 779: An Assortment of Vintage Ceramics, Souvenir Dolls, and Household Collectibles
An assortment of vintage household items and collectibles comprising ceramics, toys, and metal containers. The collection features a white porcelain teapot and matching creamer decorated with a gold-tone 50th anniversary laurel wreath motif. Notable ceramic pieces include a small rectangular dish bearing the hand-painted mark for Radford England and a bird figurine depicted on a branch. One bowl displays a circular red stamp with Chinese script to the underside. The lot includes several costumed souvenir dolls, including a British guardsman in a red tunic and a female figure in traditional European dress. Metalware consists of a hammered pewter tankard, a blue tin titled Students Color Box, and a circular tin containing small glass jars, one of which is labelled Pro and Win. Other decorative items include a floral folding fan and a wire-frame butterfly with coloured glass inserts. The collection is supplemented by three cardboard boxes, one marked Rashed Farm, containing a variety of mixed glassware and ceramic plates.
Condition report:
The collection exhibits signs of age and wear consistent with vintage items. Surface marks, minor scratches, and dust are present throughout. The metal tins show areas of oxidation and paint loss. The souvenir dolls and textiles show light fading and handling wear. Ceramics appear generally intact but may have minor shelf wear to the bases.
