Lot 799: A Trio of Vintage Portable Audio Electronics including Grundig, Bush, and PRO audio
A collection of three vintage portable audio devices. The first item is a PRO audio model TR2241 four-band transistor radio, featuring FM, MW, LW, and SW bands. It is constructed from silver-toned and black plastic with a horizontal analog slide rule tuning dial and a pivoting carry handle. The second item is a Bush mono audio cassette and computer program recorder in cream-coloured plastic. It features standard piano-key controls, a three-digit mechanical tape counter, and an integrated speaker. The third item is a Grundig SCD600 portable CD radio cassette player, finished in dark grey plastic. This unit includes a top-loading CD player, single cassette deck, and analog radio tuning, and is housed in its original cardboard retail packaging with internal polystyrene supports.
Condition report:
All items are sold as untested for working condition. The PRO audio radio shows significant adhesive residue or paint loss around the volume control knob and general surface wear. The Bush cassette recorder exhibits minor surface marks consistent with age. The Grundig unit is partially visible within its original box; the box itself shows significant wear, creasing, and crushing.
