Lot 805: 20th Century Stained Pine Tabletop Cabinet
A 20th-century tabletop cabinet or chest constructed from stained pine with a prominent knotty grain. The piece features an open upper shelf above a single lower drawer. The drawer is fitted with two turned wooden knobs and is constructed with a light-coloured softwood or plywood base. A decorative Greek key pattern is stamped or carved as a border around the front face of the carcass. No manufacturer’s marks or stamps are visible. The item bears an auction lot tag from Liskeard Auction Rooms for Lot 805.
Condition report:
Fair condition. The surface shows visible wear, including scratches to the finish on the top. There are various paper labels and adhesive residue present.
