Lot 810: An Edwardian style mahogany serpentine side table
An Edwardian style mahogany occasional side table, dating from the early 20th century. The piece features a serpentine-shaped top with a moulded edge, supported by four slender, out-swept legs of cabriole form. The legs are joined by a matching shaped undertier. The construction is mahogany with a solid or veneered top. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the base, legs, or underside.
Condition report:
The table is in fair condition. The top surface shows significant signs of use, including multiple scratches, circular marks, and areas of finish wear. There is general scuffing and minor surface abrasions to the legs and feet, consistent with age and typical use in a domestic setting.
