Lot 816: A 20th Century Pine Farmhouse Style Dining Table
A 20th-century country-style dining table constructed from solid pine. The rectangular top is formed of several joined planks and is supported by a plain apron. The base consists of four stout, turned legs ending in traditional footings. The piece is designed in the traditional British farmhouse style. No manufacturer’s marks are present. The table top features a small white adhesive label with handwritten characters 954 and a printed Liskeard Auction Rooms lot sticker for lot 816.
Condition report:
The table is in well-used, as found condition. The solid pine top exhibits significant signs of wear, including multiple dark stains, watermarks, and surface scratches. The finish is worn throughout, consistent with domestic use. No extension leaves are present.
