Lot 831: A Collection of Vintage Gloves and a Wicker Fishing Creel
An assortment of vintage gloves presented within a rectangular woven wicker basket of fishing creel design. The collection includes multiple pairs of gloves in various materials, including navy blue leather, charcoal grey leather, tan leather with decorative topstitching, and mid-brown leather. A pair of black knitted fabric gloves is also included. The basket is crafted from woven cane with an integrated lid, fitted with brown leather hinges and a front fastening strap with brass-toned metal hardware. The interior contains remnants of paper lining.
Condition report:
The items are in vintage, used condition. The leather gloves show visible creasing and surface scuffing from previous wear. The wicker basket displays general surface wear, minor losses to the weave, and age-related wear to the leather straps.
