Lot 879: Contemporary Pine Single Bedstead with Lampolet Mattress
A contemporary solid pine single bedstead finished in a honey-coloured varnish. The design features an arched headboard and a matching lower arched footboard, both of which are topped with turned spherical finials to the posts. The bedstead is constructed with solid pine side rails and shows characteristic visible knots throughout the timber. It is accompanied by a single-size foam mattress featuring a patterned ticking with repeating Lampolet brand marks in a diagonal cursive script. The bed is currently partially disassembled for storage.

Condition report:
The wooden frame is in used condition, exhibiting general wear and tear consistent with age, including surface scuffs, scratches, and minor indentations to the pine. The mattress shows visible signs of use with light discolouration and staining to the ticking.
