Lot 908: An Assortment of Mineral Specimens and Miscellaneous Items within a Morrisons Wicker Hamper
A contemporary wicker hamper from the Morrisons The Best premium product range, featuring an integrated lid and black fabric interior lining. The container is fitted with black synthetic straps and a matching carry handle. Contained within the hamper is a collection of items including two polished agate slices and a small clear crystal point, likely quartz. One agate slice displays concentric banding in shades of teal and green, while the second displays reddish-brown tones. Also included is a clear, curved plastic visor, likely a replacement part for a helmet or protective face shield. The hamper retains its original black cardboard retail tags printed with Morrisons Since 1899 and The Best. Provenance is indicated by a Liskeard Auction Rooms label for Lot 908 on the inner rim, and handwritten lot stickers numbered 1080 are present on the lid and one agate specimen.
Condition report:
The wicker hamper is structurally sound with the weaving remaining intact. The interior fabric lining shows minor signs of dust and debris. The mineral specimens are loose and appear in good condition. The plastic visor is intact with no significant visible damage.
