Lot 955: A Violino contemporary leather wingback armchair
A contemporary leather wingback armchair manufactured by Violino. The single chair is upholstered in dark brown leather and features a high back with integrated wings and a deep loose seat cushion. The design incorporates rolled arms and is detailed with brass-tone nailhead stud trim along the front facings of the arms and following the rear vertical seams. The chair is raised on four square tapered wooden legs with a dark finish. A metal plaque is affixed to the side of the chair bearing the maker mark for Violino, featuring a red triangle and the registered trademark name.
Condition report:
The item is in used condition. There is visible creasing and puddling to the leather on the seat cushion and backrest consistent with regular use. Minor scuffs and surface wear are present on the leather, particularly at the corners and edges. The wooden legs show some light abrasions.
