Lot 971: A contemporary country style pine and painted coffee table
A modern farmhouse style coffee table featuring a rectangular solid pine top with rounded corners. The base is finished in a distressed off-white paint and incorporates a single full-width drawer fitted with two turned wooden knob handles. The table is supported by four substantial bulbous turned legs, which are joined by a slatted lower tier shelf. The drawer is of pine construction. No maker marks or labels are visible on the piece.
Condition report:
The item is in a well-used, distressed condition. The pine top shows numerous surface scratches, small indentations, and watermarks consistent with age and use. The painted base has significant chipping, scuffing, and wear, particularly to the edges of the legs and the lower shelf. The drawer interior shows heavy staining and markings. There is a visible crack and separation in the paint and wood at the top of one leg joint.
