Lot 986: A children's vintage-style wooden double lift-top desk and a pair of chairs
A children’s wooden furniture set, finished in a lavender colour with cream-coloured decorative accents. The desk is designed with two independent lift-up lids that open to reveal storage compartments, a traditional-style pen groove, and two circular apertures at the rear. It is supported by a simple square-leg base. The set is accompanied by a pair of matching chairs, each featuring a curved two-slat backrest with star motifs and a seat with geometric corner patterns. This design is consistent with the Media Desk range produced by manufacturers such as Guidecraft. A handwritten paper label reading SCHOOL DESK is present on the top surface, and a small green circular sticker marked LOT is located on the top right edge.
Condition report:
In worn, used condition. The painted surface shows significant scuffing, staining, and chipping throughout. There are visible circular marks and dark stains on the desk top. Some wear and minor damage to the edges of the wood.
