Lot 129: A Trio of Vintage Brass and Mesh Curved Fireplace Spark Guards
A trio of vintage fireplace spark guards of traditional curved form. Each screen is constructed with a solid brass frame and handle, housing a fine-gauge dark-finished metal mesh. Two of the guards are fitted with simple arched loop handles, while the third features a decorative twisted rope style handle. The frames are formed from solid brass bars. These items are typical of mid-20th-century British hearth furniture. No maker marks or stamps are visible.
