Lot 136: A Pair of Contemporary Reconstituted Stone Garden Planters
A pair of contemporary square garden planters constructed from cast reconstituted stone or a similar composite material with a dark charcoal grey finish. Each planter features a moulded exterior with a repeating rectangular grid pattern resembling brickwork. The square forms are designed with slightly tapered sides and thick, rounded rims. The interiors are hollowed for planting, with at least one vessel containing a central drainage hole. The surfaces exhibit a textured finish with visible weathering. Several adhesive labels are present, including a lot sticker from Liskeard Auction Rooms for lot 136 and a handwritten label numbered 5766. No manufacturer’s marks or signatures are visible.
