Lot 152: A Pair of Mid-Century Style Sage Green Ceramic Garden Planters
A pair of matching garden planters of tapered cylindrical form, constructed from terracotta with a pale sage green exterior finish. Each pot features a simple rolled rim and a central drainage hole at the base. The interior shows an uneven application of light-coloured paint over the natural terracotta body, along with residue from previous use. The architectural form is characteristic of mid-century modern garden ware. No maker’s marks are visible on the pieces. They are accompanied by a lot tag from Liskeard Auction Rooms identifying them as Lot 152.
