Lot 283: A Collection of Decorative Household Items and Glassware including Portmeirion and Art Glass
A collection of various decorative and household items. The group features a ceramic ladle from the Portmeirion Botanic Garden range, decorated with the Viola Hybridia pansy pattern and butterfly motifs, bearing the maker’s mark PORTMEIRION Made in Britain on the reverse. Included is a large ovoid-shaped art glass vase with internal striated decoration in earth tones of brown and amber. The collection also contains a wooden-mounted weather station comprising a clock and barometer, both with brass housings and dials marked Weathermaster. Further items include a decorative wall clock set within a signboard reading CAFE de la TOUR, 27 A DE BASTIEN, DEPUIS 1927, PARIS FRANCE, and a blue-painted wooden incense box containing a wooden burner insert with brass-toned inlays. Glassware consists of two long-stemmed bell-shaped vessels and a clear glass mug with faint etched decoration.
