Lot 318: A Collection of British Bone China and Porcelain Ornaments including Coalport, Wedgwood, and Spode
This lot comprises a large collection of approximately two boxes containing various small ceramic ornaments, trinket boxes, and glass paperweights. The collection features prominent British manufacturers including Coalport, Wedgwood, Spode, and Royal Worcester. Notable patterns include Coalport Countryware, featuring white relief-moulded leaf designs; Wedgwood Wild Strawberry, decorated with transfer-printed fruit and floral motifs; and Spode Billingsley Rose Spray. The ceramic forms include a wide assortment of miniature teaware such as teapots, cream jugs, cups, and saucers, alongside numerous lidded trinket boxes in circular, oval, heart, and egg shapes. Several pieces feature hand-applied encrusted ceramic floral decorations. Visible marks include the Coalport crown symbol with Bone China, Made in England, Est 1750, and Countryware; the Wedgwood Made in England mark in brown and gold; and the Spode Bone China England Billingsley Rose Spray mark in green and pink. The glass component includes several paperweights with millefiori and controlled bubble or swirl designs, attributed in part to Caithness. Additional items include a boxed vanity compact and a small leather-cased travel set.
