Lot 350: An Assortment of Vintage Collectibles, Automobilia, and Ephemera
An assortment of vintage items and collectibles including automobilia, personal effects, and household ephemera. The collection features a Shell X-100 Motor Oil booklet and multiple small metal tins for Schrader valve cores and caps. Banking ephemera is represented by a maroon leather folder embossed with Westminster Bank Limited and the name Mr. W. J. Rankin. A small wooden box is inscribed in gilt with George F. West. 1893. and sits alongside a small cast-metal hand plane. A wooden box contains several wooden chess pieces in black and natural finishes. Personal items include a long metal button hook, a wooden wall-mounted thermometer marked Made in England, a small green glass bottle, and a brown reptile-skin patterned travel vanity kit containing a brush, comb, and mirror. A small folding pocket knife with a polished metal handle is also present. Also included is a miniature brass golf bag on a wheeled stand with small golf clubs and a book titled Boxes: Design & Technique by Tony Lydgate.
