Lot 378: An Assortment of Ceramics Glassware and Decorative Items including Denby Stoneware
A collection of various household and decorative objects. The lot includes a large brown-glazed stoneware casserole dish with a matching lid, the lid bearing the incised mark for Denby. Ceramic items comprise a white porcelain teapot featuring gilt accents, a slender white ceramic ewer with a gold-rimmed handle, a heart-shaped trinket box with floral relief decoration, and two mugs decorated with owl illustrations. Metalware consists of a copper-finished rectangular plaque engraved with a map of Cornwall and a metal ring puzzle mounted on a wooden base. Glassware includes a large clear tankard, a conical vase with an embossed bubble pattern, and several textured glass tumblers. Also present is a small black-glazed vase and a Care Bears VHS tape. The items are contained within a black plastic crate with a lot tag for Liskeard Auction Rooms.
