Lot 886: A set of four Arts and Crafts style oak dining chairs
A set of four oak dining side chairs designed in the early 20th-century Arts and Crafts style. Each chair features a high back with a scalloped top rail and three vertical splats, the central splat containing a pierced decorative cutout in a stylized heart motif. The construction includes turned front legs with block joints and square-section rear legs, joined by an H-stretcher. The front corners of the seat frames are detailed with circular wooden bosses. The seats are padded and upholstered in a burgundy velvet fabric. Adhesive auction labels are present on the top rails, including one for Liskeard Auction Rooms Lot 886 and handwritten labels marked 9475.
