Lot 903: A Collection of Vintage Domestic Utilitarian Items and Stoneware Vessels
This lot comprises an assortment of vintage domestic and utilitarian items, presented within a large galvanised metal tub of flared form with twin wire carrying handles. The tub bears an identification label for Liskeard Auction Rooms, Lot 903. The collection includes a large, rectangular upright metal case finished in dark green paint, featuring small ventilation slats near the base. The stoneware components consist of a cream-glazed stoneware foot warmer of typical form with a screw-top lid and a wide-mouthed cylindrical jar featuring a tan Bristol-type glaze to the upper section. Lighting items in the lot include a paraffin lamp with a blue pressed-glass font in a diamond-quilted pattern, fitted with a clear glass chimney, and a small white-painted metal hand lamp with a finger loop handle and a clear glass chimney. An additional loose clear glass lamp chimney is also included.
