Lot 918: A 20th-Century White Painted Wood and Glazed Arched Wall Display Cabinet
A 20th-century wall-mounted display cabinet constructed from white-painted wood with glazed panels. The piece features a decorative scrolled pediment to the top, centred with a relief-carved shell motif. The front section comprises a single hinged door divided into twelve individual panes by wooden glazing bars, fitted with a small turned white wooden knob. The two canted side panels are similarly glazed and divided into smaller sections. The interior is accessed via the front door. A paper auction label for Liskeard Auction Rooms, Lot 918, is adhered to the upper left edge. No further maker’s marks or manufacturer labels are visible.
