Lot 500: A Collection of Approximately 100 Del Prado Men at War Series Hand Painted Military Miniature Figures Plus A Spitfire
A collection of around 100 hand-painted cast metal military miniature figures from the Del Prado Men at War series. The figures are produced in approximately 1:32 scale, standing between 54mm and 60mm in height. The collection depicts a diverse range of international military personnel and ranks primarily from the World War I and World War II periods. Included are representatives from the British Army, including Highland regiments, United States Army infantry, German Wehrmacht and paratroopers, the French Foreign Legion, and Japanese infantry units. Various specialist roles are featured, such as medical personnel, mountain ski troops, and senior officers. Two figures remain in their original manufacturer blister packaging, which bears the text Ediciones del Prado 2002 and delPrado. The figures are presented within a custom five-tier wooden display case with a dark stained finish.
