Lot 510: An Assortment of Antique and Decorative Collectables including Glassware, Ceramics, and Metalware
This lot comprises an assortment of decorative objects and collectables. Included is a clear glass double-handled amphora of elongated form with a pointed base, showing characteristics of blown glass construction. The metalware includes a large, rectangular brass-coloured tray featuring intricate repoussé scrollwork, a central shield motif, and a gadrooned rim. Among the ceramics is a rectangular yellow stoneware trinket box with applied white relief-moulded prunus blossoms in the jasperware style, and a small white ceramic bottle label inscribed Brandy with a suspension chain. Commemorative items include a white stand or box with various decorative plaques, one marking the coronation of Elizabeth R 1953. Further items in the collection consist of a circular leather-covered box with a gold-toned horse head mount, a wooden box with a miniature landscape print to the lid, a floral-patterned papier-mâché box, a red and gold checkered pincushion, a miniature ceramic shoe, and a small animal figurine.
