This assortment comprises several contemporary artworks including four detailed pen and ink drawings on white paper, an Egyptian papyrus painting, and a papyrus fragment. The ink drawings are executed in a highly detailed surrealist style, blending intricate botanical, insectoid, and biomechanical motifs. Three of these works bear printed titles on labels: The QUEEN OF MACROCOSM, The PYXIDIUM, and PURL GARDEN. One drawing is signed and dated in the lower right, appearing to be dated 1974. The papyrus painting depicts the deity Anubis in canine form resting upon a decorated plinth with hieroglyphic panels. It is signed Mahmoud in both Arabic and Roman script.
