Lot 524: A Burago Lancia Stratos 1/24 Scale Model and a Group of Corgi Commercial Vehicles
This lot comprises a collection of die-cast model vehicles featuring a 1/24 scale Lancia Stratos by Burago and a group of Corgi commercial vehicles. The Lancia Stratos is finished in a red, white, and black Pirelli racing livery with World Rally Champions, VS Corse, and racing number 2 markings. It is constructed of die-cast metal with plastic components and interior. The underside is stamped Lancia Stratos, Bburago, Made in Italy, Scala 1/24, and 0106. The group of Corgi vehicles includes several vintage-style commercial models in various liveries: a Bedford truck for Charles Wells Ltd brewery with simulated cargo, an A.E.C. tanker in blue and white ELF Petroleum Spirit livery, and a red and black London Mail van. Additional models include a Fyffes Bananas van, a BOAC British Overseas Airways Corporation bus, a Peek Frean’s Biscuits van, and a gold-coloured vintage roadster. These smaller models are made from die-cast metal with plastic wheels and detailing. All vehicles are free-wheeling.
