Lot 566: Two items comprising an RMS Titanic Historical Reproduction Ephemera Collection and a Rosemary Conley Electric Citrus Press
A comprehensive collection of contemporary historical reproductions and facsimile documents relating to the RMS Titanic (Lot 566). The group includes a replica radio-telegram from the S.S. Birma reporting the SOS signal, a transcript of the Register for Transmission to the Registrar-General of Shipping and Seamen, and a copy of a condolences letter from the Dock, Wharf, Riverside and General Workers Union. Commemorative materials feature a Battersea Town Hall memorial service poster dated 28th April 1912, a reproduction front page of The Daily Graphic dated 20th April 1912, and sheet music for Nearer, My God, to Thee (Plus près de toi mon Dieu !). Shipboard replicas include a 2nd Class dinner menu from 14th April 1912, a facsimile handwritten letter on Titanic stationery, and various White Star Line advertising flyers for the Titanic and Olympic. The lot also contains an assortment of postcards and photographs depicting the vessel’s construction, propellers, and staterooms. Several pieces bear printed attributions to the Mary Evans Picture Library, The National Archives, and the National Maritime Museum.
The second item is a Rosemary Conley electric citrus press (Lot 666) featuring an 85W motor. The appliance is fitted with two interchangeable, removable pressing cones designed for various fruit sizes, a transparent protective lid, and an integrated spout for direct pouring into a glass. Accompanied by the original full-colour recipe booklet. The unit is contained within its original retail cardboard packaging.
