Lot 617: A Set of Seven Figgjo Fajanse Lotte Pattern Ceramic Bowls
A set of mid-century Norwegian glazed earthenware bowls in the Lotte pattern, designed by Turi Gramstad Oliver for Figgjo Fajanse. The set comprises one large serving bowl and six smaller individual bowls, all featuring a soft rounded square form with flared rims. The decoration is executed using a handpainted silkscreen technique, displaying whimsical folk-art style illustrations of women in traditional dress surrounded by stylized floral and foliate motifs. The colour palette consists of shades of blue, sage green, and lilac on a white ground, accented by a repeating geometric border of circles and diamonds at the rim. The base of each piece bears the printed factory mark in blue, which includes the text turi-design, Lotte, made in FF norway, and handpainted silkscreen.
