Lot 1063: A Collection of Wildlife and Coastal Themed Decorative Items Including The Juliana Collection and Global Designs
This lot comprises an assortment of decorative items primarily featuring marine and avian subjects. The collection includes a large resin sculpture from The Juliana Collection depicting three grey-green dolphins swimming around a coral reef, mounted on a dark wood-effect circular base with a gold-toned metal name plaque and original paper tag. A second dolphin group by Global Designs features three dolphins in a matte-finished white resin on a textured coral-style base, bearing an impressed M O mark and copyright symbol alongside a cardboard tag. Also included is a jumping dolphin figurine in a bright turquoise glazed ceramic. A cold-cast resin sculpture of a bald eagle with wings spread is perched on a rocky outcrop that incorporates a circular quartz clock; the clock face features Roman numerals and is marked Cosgrove Estate. Glassware items include a clear domed paperweight with an underside-etched heraldic crest displaying a lion rampant and horizontal bars with stars, and a clear crystal cube featuring an internal 3D laser-etched scene of swimming dolphins. The lot is completed by a clear glass beer stein with a hinged pewter-effect metal lid and thumb-rest, bearing a lot tag from Liskeard Auction Rooms.
