Lot 708: S. Powell and Paul Jenkins, A Collection of Framed Artworks and Prints (Signed)
A collection of framed artworks, prints, and genealogical ephemera. The grouping includes a watercolour on paper depicting a cluster of red poppies, signed S. Powell in the lower right, housed in a gilt-wood frame with an off-white mat. Also featured is a watercolour painting on paper of a mythical dragon-like creature, signed and dated Paul Jenkins 94 in the upper right, set within a dark red frame. The collection further includes a printed genealogical history for the surname Twigger featuring a polychrome coat of arms; a sunset photograph of a harbour with sailboats, including one marked 733A; a small watercolour of a child with a toy boat; and a photograph of a large dragon sculpture in an urban setting, presented in a polished burl-wood style frame with a silver-toned metal X embellishment. Additional items include botanical prints and photographic works. The items are variously housed in frames of black-stained wood, light natural wood, and gilt finishes.
