Lot 736: A Late 20th Century Rattan and Cane Honeymoon Bistro Set
A compact bistro dining set consisting of an oval table and two matching chairs. The suite is constructed from bent rattan poles with inset woven cane panels to the tabletop and side supports. The table features a rectangular base with decorative diamond-lattice panels to the shorter sides. The two chairs are designed with curved frames and backs that allow them to fit flush against the table base for space-saving storage. Each chair is fitted with a circular padded seat cushion upholstered in a reddish-brown patterned fabric with a scrolled foliate design. One chair retains a paper label referencing the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988.
