Lot 794: A Pine Trestle Dining Table and a Set of Four Ladder-Back Chairs
A dining furniture set manufactured from solid knotty pine, comprising a rectangular table and four matching chairs. The table features a solid board top with a prominent grain and is supported by a traditional trestle base. The base includes two shaped solid board end-supports joined by a central cross-stretcher, which is secured using keyed mortise and tenon joints with wooden wedges. The four dining chairs are of a country ladder-back design, each featuring four horizontal slats and H-frame stretchers. The drop-in seats are upholstered in a light green fabric with a small, repeating geometric diamond motif. The items bear lot stickers for Liskeard Auction Rooms.
