Lot 817: A Late 20th Century Stained Pine Bedside Cabinet with Carved Fretwork Detail
A small bedside cabinet or side table constructed from solid pine with a dark-stained finish. The piece features a solid top with a moulded edge, situated above an open storage compartment and a single drawer. The drawer is fitted with two turned wooden pull knobs. Both the frame of the drawer and the edge of the upper shelf are decorated with a carved geometric fretwork moulding in a Greek key pattern. The unit is supported by a solid plinth base. Auction house labels are present on the top surface, including a torn label for Liskeard Auction Rooms, lot number 817, and a small pink circular sticker numbered 32.
