Lot 832: A Set of two Vintage Brutalist Pine Dining Chairs, circa 1960s
A set of two vintage Brutalist dining chairs, circa 1960s, featuring a traditional country-style aesthetic. The chairs are constructed from solid pine with a prominent grain, finished in a warm honey-coloured stain and varnish. The design incorporates a ladder-back backrest consisting of three decoratively scalloped horizontal splats set between rounded uprights. Each chair is supported by four tapered legs. The set features two distinct styles of upholstery; while the remaining chairs are upholstered in a contrasting foliate tapestry-style fabric in similar tones.
