Lot 833: A Late 19th or Early 20th Century Glazed Hardwood Corner Display Cabinet
A late 19th or early 20th-century floor-standing corner display cabinet of single-piece construction. The piece is crafted from a hardwood with a deep reddish-brown finish and features a triangular footprint designed for corner placement. The single full-length door is fitted with a large rectangular pane of clear glass and is hung on two metal hinges to the left. The interior contains four fixed triangular wooden shelves, providing five levels of display including the base. The cabinet is finished with a simple moulded cornice and a plain plinth base. To the right of the door is a small brass-toned teardrop-shaped escutcheon. Modern auction labels from Liskeard Auction Rooms are present on the upper frame.
