Lot 16: An Assortment of Vintage Machinist Tools and Workshop Equipment including a Burnerd Lathe Chuck
A collection of vintage metalworking and machinist tools primarily of British manufacture. The lot includes an independent four-jaw lathe chuck produced by Burnerd, bearing a label identifying it as Model 34 M, made in England. Accompanying the chuck are two adjustable bar-style tap wrenches. A metal box contains a variety of circular split dies for external threading alongside several large-diameter machine taps. A yellow plastic bin contains an assortment of smaller hand taps, including examples in original Dormer Tools (Sheffield) Ltd. cardboard packaging and others in protective plastic cases, as well as a drill chuck mounted on a tapered shank. Additionally, a wooden box contains a large quantity of high-speed steel twist drill bits in various diameters, with one bit marked 9/16 SAE.
