Lot 195: An Assortment of Decorative Items and Collectables including Earthenware Vase and willow tree Figurine
This lot comprises an assortment of decorative and personal items. Featured is a tall earthenware vase with a flared rim, decorated with a hand-painted landscape scene showing stylised green trees and blue-tinted hills against a cream-coloured ground. The decoration is executed in a soft-focus style with dark outlines. Also included is a resin figurine Willow Tree by Susan Lordi for DEMDACO, depicting a seated, faceless female figure in a white bodice and blue skirt with a textured surface to simulate carved wood. The collection contains a black fabric evening bag or clutch with a metal frame and ornate gold-thread floral and scroll embroidery. A commemorative token for the Douglas Choral Union 2001 is present, housed in a red circular plastic case. Additional items include a mottled brown ceramic vessel with pierced circular apertures, likely a pomander or incense burner, alongside several other smaller bubble-wrapped decorative pieces. No maker’s marks are visible on the ceramic items.
