Lot 236: An Antique Wrought Iron Garden Gate
An antique wrought iron garden gate of United Kingdom origin, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The gate is constructed with a flat iron outer frame supporting five vertical round-section bars. A single diagonal cross-brace is included for structural rigidity. The piece retains its original mounting hardware, including a hinge pin and a drop-latch mechanism. The frame bears a handwritten paper label reading Seller 1924, Rusty Antique Garden Gate, alongside a printed auction tag from Liskeard Auction Rooms marked Lot 236.
