Lot 498: A Trio of Decorative Table Lamps including Tiffany-Style and Ceramic Examples
A collection of three table lamps in various styles. The first features a modern design with three graduated ceramic spheres in a mottled green and cream glaze, set upon a square polished metal plinth and fitted with a cylindrical neutral fabric shade. The second lamp is a Tiffany-style piece with a domed shade of opaque white glass and mirrored diamond inserts joined with leaded-style metalwork, on a cast metal base with fluted foliate motifs. The third is a studio pottery-style ceramic lamp of compressed globular form with a tapered neck, decorated with dark brown abstract brushwork on a honey-brown ground, complete with a textured fabric shade. A label on the third shade identifies the lot as 498 from Liskeard Auction Rooms. All are fitted with UK standard 3-pin plugs.
