Lot 500: Two Folding Pocket Knives including a British Army Joseph Rodgers Jack Knife and a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife
A lot comprising two multi-tool folding pocket knives. The first is a British military-issue jack knife of all-metal construction, manufactured by Joseph Rodgers of Sheffield. This knife incorporates a stainless steel lambsfoot blade, a folding marline spike, and a can opener. The main blade is stamped with the Joseph Rodgers star and cross trademarks, Joseph Rodgers Sheffield England, and Stainless. The metal scales are stamped with the instruction Oil the Joints on one side and the British military broad arrow pheon property mark above the code 58C on the reverse. The knife is fitted with a steel lanyard bail at the base. The second knife is a Victorinox Classic model featuring red scales with the Victorinox cross-and-shield emblem. The tool set includes a small pen blade, scissors, and a nail file. This knife is accompanied by its original red cardboard slipcase printed with the Victorinox name and logo in silver.
