Lot 662: Two wooden furniture stands comprising a gentleman's valet and a three-rail towel rail
This lot consists of two separate wooden furniture items. The first is a gentleman’s valet stand, likely constructed from a light-toned wood such as beech or oak. It features a curved upper rail designed as a coat hanger, an integrated shallow rectangular tray for small personal items, and two horizontal rails for trousers. The piece is supported by a single central upright post mounted on a stable H-shaped base. The second item is a free-standing three-rail towel horse or towel rail. It is made from dark-stained wood and features arched side supports topped with turned finials, standing on trestle-style feet. Both pieces bear pink identification stickers numbered 32, and the valet stand carries a commercial auction label from Liskeard Auction Rooms identifying it as Lot 662.
