Lot 708: A Contemporary IKEA Krokig Style Standing Coat Rack
A contemporary standing coat rack in the Krokig pattern, as produced by IKEA. The design features a tall, white powder-coated cylindrical metal upright support set into a heavy, circular weighted base. It is fitted with eight brightly coloured hooks in a distinctive drip aesthetic, resembling flowing paint. These hooks are finished in glossy red, orange, lime green, blue, and yellow tones and are arranged at various heights and angles around the central pole. The hooks appear to be constructed from a moulded plastic or resin material. No maker’s marks are visible on the exterior; the item bears a Liskeard Auction Rooms lot sticker identifying it as Lot 708 and a secondary handwritten sticker marked 3028.
