Lot 774: A Late 20th Century Painted Wooden Wall-Hanging Shelf Unit
A traditional-style wall-hanging shelf unit or dresser top plate rack constructed from wood. The piece features three fixed open tiers. The uppermost tier is decorated with a shaped and scalloped gallery apron inset with two pendant finials. The side supports are of a classical shaped profile. The unit is finished in an off-white or pale grey paint. The back is partially enclosed with two stained wood panels to the upper sections, while the bottom shelf back is finished with a marble-effect adhesive liner. A contemporary auction house label for Liskeard Auction Rooms is present on the top surface.
