Lot 804: A Collection of Artist Equipment and Accessories including a Winsor and Newton Wooden Field Easel
A collection of items comprising a wooden folding field easel, a metal folding tripod stand, and a walking cane. The easel is constructed from a light-coloured wood with brass-toned metal hardware. It features a central slider block bearing a diamond-shaped maker mark for Winsor and Newton. A brown leather strap is used to secure the unit when folded. Included is a silver-toned metal folding tripod stand with a circular top plate, designed for supporting a palette or sketching board. Also present is a walking cane featuring a dark-stained wooden shaft, a brass-toned collar, and a carved handle in a cream-coloured material with scrolling decoration. A paper auction label for Liskeard Auction Rooms, Lot 804, is attached to the easel frame.
