Lot 856: 20th-century pine wall-hanging cabinet with glazed door and integral towel rail
A 20th-century pine wall-hanging cabinet of country style, constructed with visible knots and a natural finish. The main compartment features a single door fitted with a glazed panel to the exterior and an integrated chalkboard to the interior face. The interior of the main cabinet is designed with notched vertical supports for adjustable shelving, and includes two loose pine shelves. To the right of the main compartment is a secondary vertical cupboard. The unit is fitted with an integral wooden towel rail or roller mounted to the right-hand side. Hardware consists of metal barrel hinges, two turned wooden knobs to the right-hand section, and a metal escutcheon for a lock at the base of the glazed door frame.
