Lot 263: An Assortment of Decorative Household Items, Ceramics, and Glassware including a Roger Lascelles Mantel Clock
This lot comprises a varied collection of decorative and functional household items. Included is a small mantel clock by Roger Lascelles, London, featuring a cream-coloured scroll-ended case and a white dial with Roman numerals. The ceramics include two large oval porcelain serving platters with wide, textured blue borders, attributed to Noritake in the Blue Rill pattern. There is a small bulbous white porcelain dish decorated with a metallic medallion in the Art of Chokin style, depicting a bird and cherry blossoms; it bears a 24 carat gold sticker and is marked Japan to the base.
