Lot 269: An Assortment of Contemporary Household and Decorative Items Including a Studio Pottery Yarn Bowl
This lot comprises an assortment of contemporary household and decorative items. It includes a large, oval, white-painted wicker basket with two integrated handles. A hand-crafted stoneware studio pottery yarn bowl features a dark metallic iridescent glaze to the interior with blue and green pooling, contrasted by a textured white crater glaze to the exterior and rim; the bowl is designed with a swirl-shaped cutout and two circular guide holes. Also included is a contemporary cage-style table lamp with black-finished metal vertical slats and a gold-toned interior base, fitted with a decorative filament bulb. An electronic fragrance diffuser consists of an iridescent metallic glass cover and a silver-toned base. A boxed Spring Time hand-cut, mouth-blown continental glassware basket is present. Sundry items include a black bowl with a red and white floral interior pattern in the style of Japanese lacquerware, a lime green plastic cup, a collection of manicure tools including clippers and scissors, and an oval plastic soap case. The wicker basket bears an auction tag for Liskeard Auction Rooms, Lot 269, and a secondary tag numbered 754. No maker’s marks are visible on the ceramic or glass items.
