Lot 324: An assortment of domestic stoneware, glassware, and decorative map plaques
This lot comprises an assortment of domestic ceramics, glassware, and decorative items. The ceramic selection features two stoneware casserole dishes with lids: one larger vessel in a deep mahogany-brown glaze with a lighter-coloured rim and circular lid knob, and a smaller tan-glazed version featuring a lid with an integrated recessed handle and steam vent. Also included is a white ceramic teapot of square architectural form with a gold-toned square lid knob, a terracotta bowl with a pierced rim and dark brown glazed well, and a white ceramic mug decorated with a hedgehog illustration. The glassware includes a clear pitcher with a pinched pouring lip, a small cylindrical glass with a bark-effect texture, a tall ridged glass, and a decorative bottle with a bubbled texture. Metalware consists of two copper-toned plaques depicting maps of Devonshire and Cornwall, and a small baluster-shaped dark metal vase. A Heineken branded cardboard box is also included.
