Lot 436: A Collection of Five Assorted Cut and Decorative Glassware Items
An assortment of five clear glassware items comprising a mix of lead crystal and decorative pressed glass. Included is a heavy, square-bodied decanter featuring an all-over diamond and pineapple cut pattern, fitted with a matching faceted stopper and a ground glass neck for a secure seal. A tall cylindrical vase is decorated with a traditional pinwheel and starburst cut pattern, accented with crisscross detailing. The collection further contains a small, heavily cut crystal bowl featuring a central hobstar on the base, surrounded by deep geometric diamond cuts and a notched, serrated rim. Also present is a large shallow circular bowl with a central diamond-cut field and a wide border decorated with moulded maple leaf motifs, and a three-sectioned serving dish in a clover or shamrock shape, featuring moulded foliate designs and a scalloped rim. One piece bears a paper auction label for Liskeard Auction Rooms, identifying the lot as 436.
