Lot 669: 20th-century Tudor style oak trestle dining table
A large solid oak dining table constructed in the 20th-century Tudor or Jacobean revival style, displaying characteristics typical of British manufacturers such as Wood Bros or Jaycee. The table features a rectangular solid oak top with prominently rounded corners and a bevelled underside edge. The wood is finished with a dark reddish-brown stain that highlights the natural grain patterns. The base is of trestle construction, comprising two shaped pedestal supports joined by a central longitudinal stretcher and terminating in bracket feet. A handwritten letter A, likely an assembly mark, is visible on the unfinished section of a leg bracket. The table is currently disassembled into its constituent parts for transport. No manufacturer marks or labels were found.
