Lot 864: Two Items comprising an Edwardian Style Dressing Table Mirror and an Upholstered Stool
This lot comprises two pieces of furniture: a freestanding dressing table mirror and a circular upholstered stool. The mirror is designed in the Edwardian style and is constructed from a dark-stained hardwood. It features a rectangular mirror plate set within a simple frame that is topped with a shallow pediment. The frame is fixed onto a flat, projecting rectangular shelf base. The stool is of mid-to-late 20th-century manufacture, designed in a traditional reproduction style. It features a circular padded seat upholstered in a textured off-white vinyl or faux leather. The stool stands on four decoratively turned dark-stained hardwood legs which are unusually connected by cylindrical metal rod stretchers.
